Intestinal angioedema is a rare side effect of angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors. We present a 41-year-old woman with sporadic right lower quadrant abdominal pain and diarrhea with multiple computed tomography scans demonstrating enteritis. The images presented here demonstrated how we arrived at the diagnosis of Ascaris lumbricoides infection in a 54-year-old man with chronic abdominal pain by capsule endoscopy (CE). In this case, computed tomography (CT) images were not representative, and further investigation with CE was required to confirm the diagnosis. The combination of CT and CE was useful for diagnosing Ascaris lumbricoides infection in this patient.

AIM: To evaluate the efficacy and tolerability of two different preparations of esomeprazole in healing duodenal ulcers.
METHODS: A total of 60 patients with active duodenal ulcers were enrolled and randomized to receive esomeprazole enteric-coated capsules (40 mg) or esomeprazole magnesium (40 mg), once daily, for 4 consecutive wk, with ulcer healing being monitored by endoscopy. Pyogenic granuloma is a benign vascular lesion that is most frequently found in the epidermis or mucosa of the oral cavity. Its finding in the ileum is rare, there are only a few case reports. In most reported cases, diagnosis is made with capsule endoscopy or double-balloon enteroscopy. We present a case of a lesion in the ileum, approximately 15 cm from the ileocecal valve, documented by colonoscopy.

Jejunal diverticulosis is a rare cause of obscure gastrointestinal bleeding (OGIB) that can present with life-threatening hemorrhage. We report a 69-year-old male with recurrent melena, severe anemia, and hemodynamic instability requiring multiple transfusions. Endoscopic duodenal biopsies were taken from 27 patients with suspected coeliac disease and compared with intubation capsule jejunal biopsies. The specimens were reported without knowledge of the patients' names or symptoms. In 24 patients (89%), coeliac disease could either be diagnosed or excluded with 100% accuracy, despite the inability to orientate the biopsies correctly.
