Pollybeak deformity represents one of the most common complications of rhinoplasty that require revision rhinoplasty for correction. This article helps to understand the basis behind the deformity, which helps us to prevent and to treat this deformity. This article and video also reiterate that systematic facial analysis is important to look for imperfections and asymmetries in other parts of the face and show how a chin augmentation is performed to correct microgenia.

We report a case of an accidental injection of benzalkonium chloride (zephiran) instead of a local anesthetic agent during a tooth extraction. The sudden development of chin and neck swelling led to dyspnea and the patient lost consciousness. She was sent to an emergency clinic by her dentist immediately. After medical treatment for 20 days, the necrotic tissue was debrided and a gingival sulcoplasty was performed. Healing was uneventful.

The interest we see in oral pathology about Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome is not strictly related to the association with neoplasms of the syndrome but, first of all, to the high frequency of macroglossia in the patients affected. A case of skin metastasis from hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is reported that resembled pyogenic granuloma. An easily bleeding, cutaneous nodule on the chin of a 62-year-old Japanese male was resected under the diagnosis of pyogenic granuloma. Histology, however, indicated HCC. Cutaneous metastases from HCC are very rare, but the possibility must be considered for unusual nodules resembling pyogenic granuloma.
