In this case report, a 77-year-old female attended a department of urology for a flexible cystoscopy in local anaesthesia with injection of botulinum toxin A in the bladder wall. One day later, she presented with suprapubic pain and hypotension which stabilized spontaneously. Mullerianosis is a rare, complex, benign tumor most commonly found in the bladder and often mistaken for a neoplastic lesion. The article provides a rare observation of a 34-year-old woman who, 12 years before admission to a urological clinic, a gynecologist installed an intrauterine contraceptive device (IUD). The subject migrated into the abdominal cavity, and after 10 years the patient developed dysuria and hematuria. In October 2017, ultrasound and cystoscopy revealed the migration of IUD into the bladder. A foreign body was removed from the bladder - an IUD of a T-shape with the formation of a stone on it with a maximum size of 4.5 cm. During a follow-up examination after 2 years, pathology was not established.

We report a rare case of uveal melanoma demonstrating simultaneous metastatic foci to the upper and lower urinary tract. A 60-year-old woman, with metastatic uveal melanoma, was referred for incidental right hydronephrosis. Ureterocele is a cystic dilatation of submucosal distal ureter. It presents a higher incidence in infants and young children but is rare in adults. The urethral prolapse of ureterocele is extremely rare, and its clinical presentation includes vulvar mass, hematuria, and urinary tract dysfunction. We present a case of ureterocele prolapse in a 45-year-old woman who has a 3-day-evolution vulvar mass and intense urethral bleeding. The patient underwent armed cystoscopy and ureteroscopy, ureterocele resection, and biopsy. She evolved with good postoperative condition and was then discharged.

We report a case of a 5-year-old girl who presented with a 3-month-long history of gross hematuria. She underwent an extensive laboratory workup (including an automated urine microscopy) and a kidney biopsy, all of which were within normal limits. While being prepared for a cystoscopy and more advanced imaging of the urinary tract, the family mentioned history of travel to a schistosomiasis endemic area prompting a more thorough ova and parasite examination of the urine. Urine microscopy confirmed the diagnosis of Schistosoma hematobium.

Inguinoscrotal bladder herniation (ISBH) is rare and often asymptomatic, but complications such as renal failure can occur. We present a case of a 70-year-old man with hydrocele. A bone scan showed tracer accumulation in the left scrotum, and a SPECT/CT while urinating revealed that most of the bladder was in the scrotum. Renal function was normal and a cystoscopy was done. We report an unusual case of Guillain-Barre syndrome in a 36-year old gentleman, diagnosed based on clinical presentation, CSF analysis and nerve study tests findings, who presented to our department for elective cystoscopy and discovered at the day of surgery to have macular skin rash over the trunk and upper limbs, surgery was postponed. Then and after 12 hours he started to develop the classical manifestations of Guillain-Barre syndrome. Asymptomatic skin rash should carefully be investigated as it could be an early presentation of a serious condition.

We report a 50 year old male who presented with a short history of gross hematuria. An ultrasonogram detected a mass arising from the right lateral wall of the urinary bladder. Computed tomography of the abdomen revealed that the mass was a calcified lesion mimicking a bladder stone. Cystoscopy confirmed the presence of the calcified lesion and biopsy revealed a rare biphasic tumor of the urinary bladder comprising of osteosarcoma and a papillary urothelial neoplasm of low malignant potential. A new case of appendicovesical fistula is reported. A hundred cases of such fistula are described in the literature. Usually the origin is appendicitis. One-stage urethroplasty was performed for 10 patients with full length urethral stricture by using double skin tube from the perineum and scrotum. Follow-up after operations showed that voiding of urine returned to normal and no residual urine was found in all patients. Voiding urethrogram and cystoscopy showed neither stenosis nor hair, stone, urethral cyst and diverticula. This operation is simple and effective in addition to rare complication and no requirement of urethral dilatation. The treatment of full length urethral stricture and tubercular urethral stricture are also discussed.

A 65-year-old man was admitted to our clinic with the chief complaint of gross hematuria and burning on urination. Cystoscopy revealed a papillary broad base tumor on right lateral and posterior wall. Barium enema showed a tumor of sigmoid colon. The other gastrointestinal and genitourinary tracts were examined but no tumor lesion could be found. Total cystectomy and partial resection of sigmoid colon were done, and the urinary tract was reconstructed using a Kock continent ileal reservoir. Histological findings revealed adenocarcinoma of its infiltration to the sigmoid colon.

We present a preliminary report on intravesical BCG instillation in four patients. The indications are prevention of new superficial tumors and treatment of carsinoma in situ. 120 mg Connaught BCG-vaccine in 50 cc saline is instillated weekly for a total of six treatments. Follow-up was performed every three months and included cystoscopy and urine cytology.
