This case report describes a 63-year-old female patient with hypertension who developed drug-induced systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) after hospitalization for syncope and severe hyponatraemia. Her complex medication regimen, including antihypertensives and proton pump-inhibitors, complicated the identification of a specific trigger. Positive anti-histone antibodies supported the diagnosis. Current methods lack high‑risk identification for acute kidney injury (AKI) after acute myocardial infarction (AMI). This study aimed to develop a metabolic‑biomarker‑based predictive system. 124 AMI patients (July 2023-October 2024) were enrolled prospectively. We report a case of a 66-year-old woman presenting with nail changes, parchment-like hand changes, progressive alopecia and sicca syndrome.
