We present DrivingGaussian++, an efficient and effective framework for realistic reconstruction and controllable editing of surrounding dynamic autonomous driving scenes. DrivingGaussian++ models the static background with incremental 3D Gaussians and reconstructs moving objects with a composite dynamic Gaussian graph, ensuring accurate positions and occlusions. By integrating a LiDAR prior, it achieves detailed and consistent scene reconstruction, outperforming existing methods in dynamic scene reconstruction and photorealistic surround-view synthesis. DrivingGaussian++ supports training-free

With a strong alignment between the training and test distributions, object relation as a context prior facilitates object detection. Yet, it turns into a harmful but inevitable training set bias upon test distributions that shift differently across space and time. Nevertheless, the existing detectors cannot incorporate deployment context prior during the test phase without parameter update. Such kind of capability requires the model to explicitly learn disentangled representations with respect to context prior. To achieve this, we introduce an additional graph input to the detector, where the

Open-vocabulary Video Instance Segmentation addresses the challenging task of detecting, segmenting, and tracking objects in videos, including categories not encountered during training. However, existing approaches often overlook rich temporal cues from preceding frames, limiting their ability to leverage causal context for robust open-world generalization. To bridge this gap, we propose CPOVIS, a novel framework that introduces causal prompts-dynamically propagated visual and taxonomy prompts from historical frames-to enhance temporal reasoning and semantic consistency. Built upon a Mask2For

LiDAR-based human motion capture holds great promise for large-scale, unconstrained environments. However, existing approaches often rely on clean, pre-segmented point clouds and struggle with noisy or dynamic scenes, limiting their practical applicability. We propose OptimalCap, a robust and efficient LiDAR-based framework that integrates hierarchical skeletal modeling and kinematic-aware temporal optimization to enable accurate, coherent, and real-time multi-human motion capture. To support training and evaluation under realistic disturbances, we also introduce NoiseMotion, a large-scale syn

We present T-Rex2++, a unified and highly practical framework for generic open-set object perception, encompassing both object detection and instance segmentation. Previous methods relying on text prompts effectively encapsulate the abstract concept of common objects, but struggle with rare or complex object representation due to data scarcity and descriptive limitations. Conversely, visual prompts excel in depicting novel objects through concrete visual examples, but fall short in conveying the abstract concept of objects as effectively as text prompts. Recognizing these complementary strengt

Semantic segmentation takes a pivotal role in various applications such as autonomous driving and medical image analysis. When deploying segmentation models in practice, it is critical to test their behaviors in varied and complex scenes in advance. In this paper, we construct an automatic data generation pipeline Gen4Seg to stress-test semantic segmentation models by generating various challenging samples with different attribute changes. Beyond previous evaluation paradigms focusing solely on global weather and style transfer, we investigate variations in both appearance and geometry attribu

Knowledge distillation (KD) has become a fundamental technique for model compression in object detection tasks. The data noise and training randomness may cause the knowledge of the teacher model to be unreliable, referred to as knowledge uncertainty. Existing methods neglect this uncertainty, potentially hindering the student's capacity to capture and understand latent "dark knowledge". In this work, we introduce a novel strategy that explicitly incorporates knowledge uncertainty, named Uncertainty-Driven Knowledge Extraction and Transfer (UET). Given the unknown, high-dimensional nature of t

Trajectory prediction is a fundamental problem in computer vision, vision-language-action models, world models, and autonomous systems, with broad impact on applications including autonomous driving, robotics, and surveillance. Most existing approaches assume observations are complete and relatively clean, and thus do not adequately address out-of-sight agents or the intrinsic noise in sensing modalities (e.g., sensor measurements) caused by restricted camera coverage, occlusions, and the lack of ground-truth denoised trajectories. These factors introduce substantial safety concerns and reduce

Biometric authentication is now widely adopted across both consumer and enterprise applications, offering an intuitive and seamless user experience. However, research in the field has historically focused more on improving recognition accuracy than on addressing fundamental security and privacy concerns. As biometric technologies become increasingly pervasive, their exposure to a broad range of threats, including template leakage, identity theft, and cross-matching, raises critical challenges. Existing protection schemes such as cancelable biometrics, biometric cryptosystems, and privacy-prese

Recent advancements in multi-modal large language models (MLLMs) have shown strong potential for 3D scene understanding. However, existing methods struggle with fine-grained object grounding and contextual reasoning, limiting their ability to interpret and interact with complex 3D environments. In this paper, we present Chat-Scene++, an MLLM framework that represents 3D scenes as context-rich object sequences. By structuring scenes as sequences of objects with contextual semantics, Chat-Scene++ enables object-centric representation and interaction. It decomposes a 3D scene into object represen

Camera-based 3D object detection in BEV (Bird's Eye View) space has drawn great attention over the past few years. Dense detectors typically follow a two-stage pipeline by first constructing a dense BEV feature and then performing object detection in BEV space, which suffers from complex view transformations and high computation costs. On the other side, sparse detectors follow a query-based paradigm without explicit dense BEV feature construction but generally underperform compared to dense ones. In this paper, we find that the key to mitigating this performance gap is the adaptability of the

Stable Diffusion has demonstrated strong image synthesis ability to given text descriptions, suggesting it to contain strong semantic clue for grouping objects. The researchers have explored employing Stable Diffusion for training-free segmentation. Most existing approaches refine cross-attention map by self-attention map once, demonstrating that self-attention map contains useful semantic information to improve segmentation. To fully utilize self-attention map, we present a deep experimental analysis on iteratively refining cross-attention map with self-attention map, and propose an effective

Image fusion seeks to seamlessly integrate foreground objects with background scenes, producing realistic and harmonious fused images. While existing methods often insert objects directly, adaptive and interactive fusion-requiring contextual adaptation and foreground-background interplay-remains a challenging yet critical task. To address this, we first propose a pipeline for generating high-quality fusion data. By combining iterative in-context learning with existing tools, we curate a diverse cross-scene dataset supporting three core tasks: object integration, replacement, and attribute-refe

Collaborative perception allows each agent to enhance its perceptual abilities by exchanging messages with others. It inherently results in a trade-off between perception ability and communication costs. Previous works transmit complete full-frame high-dimensional feature maps among agents, resulting in substantial communication costs. To promote communication efficiency, we propose only transmitting the information needed for the collaborator's downstream task. This pragmatic communication strategy focuses on three key aspects: i) pragmatic message selection, which selects task-critical parts

Category-level articulated object pose perception-encompassing both static pose estimation and dynamic pose tracking-is critical for embodied AI systems interacting with complex environments. Due to the inherent complexity and diverse motion structures of articulated objects, existing methods often exhibit limitations in adequately modeling kinematic constraints, handling self-occlusions, and meeting optimization requirements. Building upon EfficientCAPER (Yu et al., 2024), this work introduces CAPER++, a unified framework addressing these limitations through three key innovations: first, a jo

With the accumulation of resources in the era of Big Data and the rise of pre-trained models in deep learning, optimizing neural networks for various tasks often involves different strategies for fine-tuning pre-trained models versus training from scratch. However, existing optimizers primarily focus on reducing the loss function by updating model parameters, without fully addressing the unique demands of these two major paradigms. In this paper, we propose DualOpt, a novel approach that decouples optimization techniques specifically tailored for these distinct training scenarios. For training

Recent progress in semi-supervised video object segmentation has largely hinged on memory-based methods. However, when faced with increasingly tough challenges emerging in complex scenarios, such as fundamental semantic transformations and severe spatial deformations, the fixed-interval memory update mechanism usually adopted in these memory-based methods is insufficient to align with the pivotal moments of object changes. This inflexible mechanism motivates us to design an adaptive memory update mechanism in response to the semantic-spatial changes of target objects. To this end, we propose a

DEtection TRansformer (DETR) and its variants have emerged as promising architectures for object detection, offering an end-to-end prediction pipeline. In practice, however, DETRs generate hundreds of predictions that far outnumber the actual objects present in an image. This raises a critical question: which of these predictions could be trusted? This is particularly important for safety-critical applications, such as in autonomous vehicles. Addressing this concern, we provide empirical and theoretical evidence that predictions within the same image play distinct roles, resulting in varying r

Visual navigation is a fundamental capability for autonomous home-assistance robots, enabling the execution of long-horizon tasks such as object search. While recent methods have leveraged Large Language Models (LLMs) to incorporate commonsense reasoning and improve exploration efficiency, their planning processes remain constrained by textual representations, which cannot adequately capture spatial occupancy or scene geometry-critical factors for informed navigation decisions. In this work, we explore whether Vision-Language Models (VLMs) can achieve mapless visual navigation using only onboa

Domain adaptation has recently been widely explored for 3D detection. Previous works mainly use unsupervised domain adaptation (UDA) to address domain discrepancies. Despite notable improvements, their performance still largely trails models trained with fully annotated target data, due to larger domain gaps caused by different sensors and changing environments. In this paper, we exploit key characteristics of autonomous driving scenarios, including similar scenes and classimbalanced distributions, and explore a new task named active domain adaptation (ADA) for 3D object detection, which selec
