Diverticula of the urethral wall are not common. Generally, in the male, congenital urethral diverticulum is located in the anterior urethra. We report a twenty-one year old man who referred to our department for dysuria, micturition in two times, small stream urination. Sometimes he also presented a dry ejaculation. The exams showed, at the bulbous portion of the urethra, an urethral diverticulum. The diverticulum was probably congenital because the patient had no history of urinary infection, catheterization or trauma. A surgery procedure was performed. 9 months later, the result is good.

We describe a Cockapoo with a subarachnoid diverticulum (Type III), at the level of L6-7. Magnetic resonance imaging identified a circumferential dilatation of the dural sac, extending from the cranial endplate of L6 to the midbody of L7, containing T2-weighted hyperintense and T1-weighted hypointense material that suppressed on fluid-attenuated inversion recovery sequences, consistent with cerebrospinal fluid. A Meckel's diverticulum is the most common congenital anomaly of the gastrointestinal tract, with a population incidence of approximately 2%. A Zenker's diverticulum (ZD) is an acquired hernia of the mucosa and submucosa at the pharyngoesophageal junction dorsally through Killian's triangle, considered a zone of weakness. The authors report a case of a 62-year-old male presenting to the emergency department with hematochezia. Urgent colonoscopy revealed numerous diverticula in the sigmoid colon, two of them inverted. Oozing bleeding from a visible vessel was identified on the top of the most distal inverted diverticulum. An over-the-scope clip was released after suction into the transparent cap and successful hemostasis was achieved.

Retained foreign bodies in small bowel diverticula are a rare occurrence. Batteries and battery containing products can cause bowel perforation, and when retained in diverticula, retrieval methods may need to be considered. We present a novel case of a hearing aid powered by lithium battery getting stuck in a jejunal diverticulum, and outline an approach to retrieval.

INTRODUCTION: Meckel's diverticulum is the commonest congenital anomaly of the gastrointestinal tract in humans that is commonly encountered during surgical practice as the cause of the patient's presentation or as an incidental finding during other unrelated procedures. A 54-year-old female presented with a long history of multi-drug-resistant urinary tract infections, urinary urgency and frequency, haematuria, stress urinary incontinence and difficulty voiding. Gastric diverticula rarely occur in adolescence. In adults, they are predominantly congenital, asymptomatic, and are located adjacent to the gastroesophageal junction on the posterior aspect of the stomach wall. In this report we present a 14-year-old female who underwent laparoscopic gastric diverticulectomy after incidental discovery on magnetic resonance urography.
