The model of Onchocerca lienalis microfilariae (mf) injected into inbred CBA/Ca mice was studied for its usefulness as an additional primary/secondary drug screen for onchocerciasis. The aim of our investigation was to study the influence of the systematic enzymotherapy on the results of surgical treatment of patients with duodenal ulcers. The immunological investigation was conducted on 77 patients with duodenal ulcers. The obtained results reveal the changes of immunological indexes in patients with duodenal ulcers. The process of rehabilitation with immunomodulative and enzymatic therapy after surgical treatment is analyzed and described.
