Angiosarcoma of the colon with epithelioid and histiocytoid features, a malignant counterpart of epithelioid hemangioendothelioma, was observed in a 72-year-old man. The disease first manifested as a right cervical mass, with the histologic appearance of malignant, undifferentiated, large-cell epithelioid neoplasm. An unusual case of metastasis to two lymph nodes from an adenocarcinoma arising in an adenomatous polyp of the sigmoid colon is presented. Invasion of the stalk could not be detected, but penetration of the muscularis mucosae was observed. Immunoperoxidase staining was used to detect an antigen in the invasive and metastatic components of the tumor that reacted with an antiserum to a tumor associated antigen. A focus of intraepithelial carcinoma was also detected by this method. The relevance of these findings to the adenoma-carcinoma sequence is discussed.

Hepatoblastomas are more common in childhood but extremely rare in adults. A further case of hepatoblastoma in an adult is reported: The tumor consisted of two components, epithelial and mesenchymal ones. This paper analyses the distribution of metastases at every site of the human body in acute lymphoblastic, chronic lymphocytic, acute myeblastic and chronic myelocytic leukemias in patients that come to autopsy.
