INTRODUCTION: Early and accurate SLE diagnosis is critical to identify and treat inflammatory organ manifestations before irreversible organ damage occurs. Conventional serological tests (anti-double-stranded DNA (anti-dsDNA), anti-Smith) and complement biomarkers (C3/C4) lack sensitivity in early disease, contributing to diagnostic delays. To estimate the accuracy of clinical examination and the indications for defecography in patients with primary posterior wall prolapse. It has been found that antimuscarinic drugs, viewed as the "gold standard" in overactive bladder syndrome (OAB) treatment, have an unsatisfactory tolerance profile and limited clinical effectiveness. This fact has given a clear impetus to search for new options in OAB pharmacotherapy. The conducted pre-clinical trials have led to the development of new solutions for the treatment of OAB, which stand a good chance of being applied in clinical practice. The said compounds are characterised by higher receptor and organ specificity than currently used medications.

Specimens of DMBA-induced mammary tumour, DMBA-induced subcutaneous sarcomas, and virus induced sarcomas in the rat were incubated for 24-72 hours as organ cultures. The effect of various concentrations of testosterone, progesterone, and 17-beta-oestradiol on cell survival and multiplication was measured as changes in incorporation of H3-TdR into DNA. All three types of tumour reacted to the hormones. Statistical analysis of data demonstrated possible influence of factors other than hormone treatment. BACKGROUND: Reactivation of latent Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection is an important health concern for patients on hemodialysis because of their immunosuppressed state and in kidney transplant patients receiving immunosuppressive therapy to prevent organ rejection. There are several tests available to determine the presence of latent tuberculosis infection: the tuberculin skin test (TST), QuantiFERON-TB Gold (QFT-G), and T-SPOT.TB.
