Sparse4D: Sparse-Based End-to-End Multi-Sensor Temporal Perception.

In the field of autonomous driving, the structural design of perception models is of paramount importance. Unlike mainstream BEV-based algorithms, we propose a novel end-to-end sparse perception framework, Sparse4D, to achieve better performance and higher efficiency. Starting from the sparsity of perception results, we define an instance that decouples implicit features and explicit anchors, using the instance as the core for feature fusion to accomplish perception tasks. For spatial modelling, we develop a novel operator called deformable aggregation, which enables the transfer of informatio

Beyond Sparsity: Receptive Field Expansion and Cross-Task Fusion for LiDAR Multi-Task Perception.

LiDAR-based multi-task perception for autonomous driving requires efficient integration of spatial context and cross-task information, yet existing methods often suffer from restricted receptive fields and suboptimal task interaction. This paper presents a novel multi-task framework that goes beyond sparsity constraints, leveraging receptive field expansion and cross-task fusion to enhance 3D object detection and semantic segmentation. We introduce the Spatial Density-Invariant Multi-scale Integrator (SDIMI), which adaptively fuses multi-resolution contextual features using density-agnostic st

MRCNet: Motion Reasoning Chain for Cross Modal Video Camouflaged Object Detection.

Video camouflaged object detection (VCOD) aims to identify objects that seamlessly blend into their surroundings in video sequences. Traditional methods merely rely on visual cues to capture inter-frame motion that reveals camouflaged objects. However, the high similarity between camouflaged objects and their environments often renders pure reliance on visual cues unreliable. Additionally, random motions including camera shaking and abrupt scene transitions also inevitably bring noise into the identification process. To overcome these challenges, we propose a Motion Reasoning Chain Network (MR

MagicSeg: Open-World Segmentation Pretraining via Counterfactural Diffusion-Based Auto-Generation.

Open-world semantic segmentation presently relies significantly on extensive image-text pair datasets, which often suffer from a lack of fine-grained pixel annotations on sufficient categories. The acquisition of such data is rendered economically prohibitive due to the substantial investments of both human labor and time. In light of the formidable image generation capabilities of diffusion models, we introduce a novel diffusion model-driven pipeline for automatically generating datasets tailored to the needs of open-world semantic segmentation, named "MagicSeg". Our MagicSeg initiates from c

MVHumanNet++: A Large-Scale Dataset of Multi-View Daily Dressing Human Captures With Richer Annotations for 3D Human Digitization.

In this era, the success of large language models and text-to-image models can be attributed to the driving force of large-scale datasets. However, in the realm of 3D vision, while significant progress has been achieved in object-centric tasks through large-scale datasets like Objaverse and MVImgNet, human-centric tasks have seen limited advancement, largely due to the absence of a comparable large-scale human dataset. To bridge this gap, we present MVHumanNet++, a dataset that comprises multi-view human action sequences of 4,500 human identities. The primary focus of our work is on collecting

SpaceEra++: A Unified Framework Toward 3D Spatial Reasoning in Video.

Visual-spatial understanding, defined as the ability to infer object relationships and scene layouts from visual inputs, is fundamental to downstream tasks such as robotic navigation and embodied interaction. However, pre-trained vision-language models (VLMs) remain constrained by spatial uncertainty stemming from inherently 2D observations and by the scarcity of data for 3D spatial understanding. To address these limitations, we proposed a novel framework, SpaceEra, in the NeurIPS 2025 Spotlight paper. Although it achieved significant performance gains, we further observed that its effectiven

Synthetic Priors for Real-World Detection: A Label-Free Framework for Identifying Ultra-Rare Objects.

Detecting ultra-rare objects (frequency < 10-6) without positive annotations remains a critical challenge in computer vision. We propose a Synthesis-Prior Driven paradigm that eliminates the need for real positive samples. Our core insight is that models trained on statistically and perceptually indistinguishable synthetic data can generalize effectively to real-world environments. To achieve this, we introduce a Differentiable Morphological Modeling framework, which embeds explicit physical and geometric priors into a differentiable synthesis engine. Unlike deep learning generative models, th

Mask-Guided Self-Supervised Video Object Segmentation.

This work aims to learn video object segmentation (mask propagation) in a self-supervised manner. We develop a unified framework which simultaneously models cross-frame dense correspondence for locally discriminative feature learning and embeds object-level context for target-mask decoding. As a result, it is able to directly learn to perform mask-guided sequential segmentation from unlabeled videos, in contrast to previous efforts usually relying on an oblique solution - cheaply "copying" labels according to pixel-wise correlations. Concretely, our algorithm alternates between i) clustering v

RENI++: A Rotation-Equivariant, Scale-Invariant, Natural Illumination Prior.

Inverse rendering is an ill-posed problem. Previous work has sought to resolve this by focussing on priors for object or scene shape or appearance. In this work, we instead focus on a prior for natural illuminations. Current methods rely on spherical harmonic lighting or other generic representations and, at best, a simplistic prior on the parameters. This results in limitations for the inverse setting in terms of the expressivity of the illumination conditions, especially when taking specular reflections into account. We propose a conditional neural field representation based on a variational

Long&short Exposures Guided Diffusion Model for Realistic Local Motion Deblurring.

Removing local blur caused by moving objects is challenging, especially in low signal-to-noise ratio environments, as the moving objects are usually significantly blurry while the static background remains relatively clear. Existing methods relying on local blur detection often suffer from inaccuracies and cannot generate satisfactory results when focusing solely on blurred regions. In this paper, we present an effective diffusion model guided with long-exposure and short-exposure images for realistic local motion deblurring. Specifically, we first propose a context-based local blur detection

BrushEdit: All-in-One Image Inpainting and Editing.

Image editing has advanced significantly with the development of diffusion models using both inversion-based and instruction-based methods. However, current inversion-based approaches struggle with big modifications (e.g., adding or removing objects) due to the structured nature of inversion noise, which hinders substantial changes. Meanwhile, instruction-based methods often constrain users to black-box operations, limiting direct interaction for specifying editing regions and intensity. To address these limitations, we propose BrushEdit, a novel inpainting-based instruction-guided image editi

FocalClick-XL: Toward Unified and High-Quality Interactive Segmentation.

Interactive segmentation enables users to extract binary masks of target objects through simple interactions such as clicks, scribbles, and boxes. However, existing methods often support only limited interaction forms and struggle to capture fine details. In this paper, we revisit the classical coarse-to-fine design of FocalClick and introduce significant extensions. Inspired by its multi-stage strategy, we propose a novel pipeline, FocalClick-XL, to address these challenges simultaneously. Following the emerging trend of large-scale pretraining, we decompose interactive segmentation into meta

Leveraging Text-to-Image Diffusion Models for Unsupervised Visual Object Tracking.

Unsupervised visual object tracking is a challenging task that requires following arbitrary targets in videos without training on ground-truth annotations. Despite considerable progress, existing state-of-the-art unsupervised trackers often struggle in scenarios that demand fine-grained understanding of semantic and visual structural information within video frames. Text-to-image diffusion models are well known for their ability to generate images that accurately reflect the semantics and structures described in the input prompt, demonstrating a strong grasp of visual semantics and structures.

Ego-R1: Agentic Chain-of-Tool-Thought for Ultra-Long Egocentric Video Reasoning.

Egocentric videos are inherently long-form, as they provide a continuous, first-person perspective of daily life, capturing complex social interactions and routines that naturally span days or weeks. Understanding and reasoning over egocentric videos that span hours or even days poses significant challenges due to their length, multimodal nature, and complex temporal dependencies over long time horizons. To this end, we introduce Ego-R1, a novel framework for reasoning over ultra-long (i.e., days and weeks) egocentric videos. Ego-R1 leverages a structured Chain-of-Tool-Thought (CoTT) process,

Deciphering Object Concepts: Hierarchical Cross-Modal Relational Reasoning for Mining Object-Attribute-Affordance Associations.

Object Concept Learning (OCL) aims to recognize high-level attributes and affordances of objects and to infer the causal relationships between them. The key is to accurately model the many-to-many mapping between objects and concepts: While an object may possess multiple concepts, a concept can also belong to multiple objects. Existing methods primarily rely on attention mechanisms to capture label correlations, which limits their ability to comprehend high-level concepts and to perform effective causal reasoning. Inspired by the human cognitive process of progressive understanding, a Hierarch

MPQ-DMv2: Flexible Residual Mixed Precision Quantization for Low-Bit Diffusion Models With Temporal Distillation.

Diffusion models have demonstrated remarkable performance on vision generation tasks. However, the high computational complexity hinders its wide application on edge devices. Quantization has emerged as a promising technique for inference acceleration and memory reduction. However, existing quantization methods do not generalize well under extremely low-bit (2-4 b) quantization. Directly applying these methods will cause severe performance degradation. We identify that the existing quantization framework suffers from the outlier-unfriendly quantizer design, suboptimal initialization, and optim

Single-Stage Instance Segmentation Survey: A "1+2+3" Technical Framework.

Single-stage instance segmentation is a prominent research direction in computer vision. However, in existing single-stage instance segmentation methods, there is a lack of summary on the 6 key questions: "How to select the learning paradigm?", "How to extract features?", "How to fuse features?", "How to classify objects?", "How to generate object masks?", and "How to localize objects?". These questions restrict the development and application to some degree. To address these questions, this paper proposes a "1+2+3" technical framework for summarizing single-stage instance segmentation. "1" re

A Theoretical Characterization of the Good Properties of Extremely Randomized Trees for Random Forest-Distance Computation.

Ensembles of Extremely Randomized Trees (ERT), initially introduced for supervised scenarios, have been shown to represent surprisingly effective models also in unsupervised contexts, for example, for the detection of anomalies (i.e., Isolation Forests) or for defining Random Forest-distances. In this paper, we focus on this last field, providing a theoretical characterization to support the excellent empirical behaviors shown by ERTs in the definition of RF-distances. We start by assuming the existence, in a given domain, of a proper representation, i.e., a vectorial representation fulfilling

Looking Broader for Knowledge Distillation via Receptive-Field Alignment.

Semantic mismatch remains a key challenge in conventional knowledge distillation, where representational features are typically regressed from the teacher to the student in a one-to-one spatial matching fashion. In this paper, we address semantic mismatch by examining architectural differences between teacher and student networks. Specifically, due to the variations in network width and depth, the teacher network has a larger receptive field than the student, enabling it to integrate a broader spatial context. In contrast, the student model captures more localized features. This disparity exac

Improving Viewpoint Robustness for Visual Recognition via Adversarial Training.

Viewpoint invariance remains challenging for visual recognition in the 3D world, as altering the viewing directions can significantly impact predictions for the same object. While substantial efforts have been dedicated to making neural networks invariant to 2D image translations and rotations, viewpoint invariance is rarely investigated. Motivated by the success of adversarial training in enhancing model robustness, we propose Viewpoint-Invariant Adversarial Training (VIAT) to improve the viewpoint robustness of the vision model. Regarding viewpoint change as an attack, we formulate VIAT as a
