A case of calcium hydroxyapatite deposition in the triangular fibrocartilage of the wrist is presented. The deposit took the more unusual form of a tumor, posing diagnostic difficulties. Magnetic resonance imaging was helpful in delineating the lesion, but could not identify its nature. Surgical excision resulted in resolution of symptoms.

BACKGROUND: Urethral caruncles are lesions occurring at the urethral orifice, around the posterior lip of the urethra. They are the most common benign growth of the female urethra. They are often asymptomatic and found incidentally on clinical examination. When symptomatic they commonly present with bleeding. Treatment includes vaginal oestrogens or, failing that, surgical excision. We present an unusual finding after excision of a urethral caruncle.

Tendons are made of compact dense collagen fibers with only sparse cellularity and naturally low immunogenicity. Allogenic tendons may be preserved through deep freezing methods and retain excellent mechanical properties after revitalization. It is well recognised that septic sequelae of puncture wounds are worse in diabetics. Since much of the spreading foot sepsis from puncture wounds is deep to the deep fascia, and because the sole of the foot has thick skin and subcutaneous fibrous septae, crepitus is not as easily appreciated as it is at other sites. INTRODUCTION: Ocular symptoms are uncommon manifestations of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infection. Earlier study reported that dry eye, blurred vision, foreign body sensation, tearing, itching, conjunctival secretion, conjunctival congestion, ocular pain, and photophobia are among the ocular symptoms that could be found in COVID-19 patients. However, there are only a few reports available regarding corneal involvement in this disease. Here we report a case of keratoconjunctivitis as the only symptom of COVID-19 infection.
