A 60-year-old man with bilateral corneal opacity underwent cataract extraction surgery involving the use of a limbal relaxing incision in his left eye. This case presents the challenge of how to accurately assess the unilateral painful red eye with ciliary injection. The diagnosis can be clarified with careful clinical observation and a few basic clinical tests. Physical examination should focus on visual acuity; presence of pain; location of redness; shape, size, and reaction of the pupil; and the IOP, if it can be obtained safely. AIM: Description of corneal findings in Fabry disease-related keratopathy using in vivo confocal microscopy.
OBSERVATION: A 65-year-old man presenting with a cerebral ischemic lesion was referred to our clinic for ophthalmologic evaluation with a suspicion of inaugural Fabry disease. Slit lamp biomicroscopy showed whorl-like lines in the inferior cornea of both eyes. PURPOSE: To present a case of delayed-onset unilateral keratitis caused by Actinomyces israelii after laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK).

OBJECTIVE: To report the efficacy of subconjunctival bevacizumab injection in patients with corneal neovascularization (NV).
METHODS: This retrospective interventional case study included two eyes of two patients with corneal NV due to aqueous-deficient dry eye with filamentary keratitis in the first case, and corneal graft failure in the second case. This is the first report of a severe case of Mycobacterium chelonae keratitis; it occurred in a 26-year-old man after he had undergone excimer laser photorefractive keratectomy for the correction of severe myopia, once the epithelium was already healed.
