PURPOSE: Here, we report our experience treating a patient with Maffucci syndrome and evaluate the outcomes resulting from surgical management combined with sclerotherapy in the treatment of head and neck venous malformations (VMs). A 19-years-old woman with multiple enchondromas and heterauxesis complained of masses in the oral cavity that had gradually increased in size and eventually affected her daily life. A tracheotomy was performed followed by traditional sclerotherapy to treat the oropharyngeal VMs. Next, we surgically excised the VMs of the oral cavity and maxillofacial skin.

The aim of the present study was to report a rare case of dyspnea caused by rapid growth of intratracheal lymphoma in the 2 weeks following thyroid surgery. A 53-year-old male patient underwent a right thyroidectomy due to tracheal compression by a mass of the right thyroid lobe. METHODS: A 10 year old boy presented in the out-patient department with a painless mass in left eye. Complications in dental implant surgery are possible. Bleeding complications have been described that may be serious, particularly in the floor of the mouth. We present two cases of sublingual hematomas during dental implant osteotomies that impeded but did not close the airway. The clinical courses of these patient's complications are reviewed. One patient had immediate hematoma formation while the other developed a hematoma overnight, presenting the next day. Multinodular goiter in lingual thyroid is quite rare. Surgical removal is indicated in symptomatic patients and when cancer is suspected. An … dular goiter presenting since childhood. OBJECTIVE: To discuss the feasibility of tumorectomy by transoral approach of macrosis benign neoplasms in parapharyngeal space.
