An infant is reported with partial deletion of the long arm of chromosome no. 7. She presented with hypertonia, seizures, feeding difficulty, and multiple congenital anomalies. The abnormalities include low-set dysplastic ears, hypoplastic orbital bones, upslanting and small palpebral fissures, prominent cheeks with a relatively large mouth, micrognathia, abnormal creases of the hands and a congenital heart defect. With age her hypotonia and feeding difficulty have improved. Her mother has no detectable chromosome abnormality.

Free vascularized fibular graft is of the greatest importance in the orthopaedics and trauma. Bone, skeletal defects due to the trauma, infections and congenital anomalies could be successfully solved by the free vascularized fibular grafts. In this article the main anatomical data of fibular graft, surgical techniques, indications for the FVFG in the treatment of trauma caused bone defects or its complications -sequels are described.

BACKGROUND: There are various methods used to estimate the length of the Achilles tendon moment arm, but these methods often provide substantially different results. Using radiographic images can help with better localization of the bones, but it is often used during static conditions. Using a dual fluoroscopy imaging system enables us to obtain in vivo data during dynamic movement, which could provide a more detailed description of the ankle joint position-dependent length changes of the Achilles tendon moment arm angle.

In this report we describe the use of the lateral arm fascial flap for degloving injuries of the fingers and for skin loss on the dorsum of the hand with exposure of tendons and bones. Osteosarcoma most frequently affects long bones, particularly around the knee, and is therefore rare in the forearm. We report the case of a 67-year-old woman presenting with progressive lesion of the distal radius. A pathological diagnosis of osteoblastic osteosarcoma was suspected and was confirmed by needle biopsy. There had been two other cases of osteosarcoma in the same family. The patient was treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy followed by amputation of the arm below the elbow.

It is characterized by multiple hamartomatous neoplasms of the skin, oral mucosa, gastrointestinal tract, bones, CNS, eyes, and genitourinary tract. Mucocutaneous features include trichilemmomas, oral mucosal papillomatosis, acral keratosis, and palmoplantar keratosis.
