The authors report on sixty two (62) patients treated at the drug abuse unit of the Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Aro, Abeokuta, Nigeria over a 17-month period (June 1985-October 1986). Drugs mainly abused were marijuana (53.5%, alcohol (28.2%) and hard drugs (mainly heroin and cocaine) which accounted for 14.3%. OBJECTIVES: Arch branching has never been shown to influence recoarctation after extended end-to-end anastomosis via thoracotomy, yet in each study bovine arch identification is grossly underreported. This study aims to (1) assess chart review reliability in bovine arch identification; (2) determine recoarctation risk with a bovine arch; and (3) explore an anatomic explanation for recurrent arch obstruction based on arch anatomy.

Correctional facilities offer opportunities to provide comprehensive HIV services including education, testing, treatment, and coordination of post- release care. However, these services may be undermined by unaddressed HIV stigma.
