Gastrodin (GAS), the main phenolic glycoside extracted from Gastrodia elata Blume, exhibits potential renoprotective properties. Here, we examined the protective effects of GAS on carbon tetrachloride (CCl4)-induced kidney inflammation and fibrosis in mice, and explored its underlying mechanisms.
