Eleven transexuals with transexuality from man to woman and a karotype 46 X-Y and 11 transexuals with transexuality from woman to man and the karotype 46 X-X were investigated for H-Y antigen. Eight of the 46 X-Y transexuals were H-Y antigen negative, one intermediately slightly positive and two H-Y antigen positive. INTRODUCTION: Little is known about the nature and prevalence of sexual offending among youth in Hong Kong.
METHODS: Testing self-control theory and sexual health risk factors (i.e., risky sexual behaviors [general and two subtypes] and paraphilic interests [general and 14 subtypes]), the prevalence of self-reported sexual offending behaviors (i.e., threat of sexual assault, penetrative sexual assault, and nonpenetrative sexual offense) was examined in a community-based sample of 863 young people (aged 17 to 20) in Hong Kong.

The aim of this study was to examine the clinical characteristics of patients with gender identity disorder (GID) at a GID clinic in Japan. A total of 603 consecutive patients were evaluated at the GID clinic using clinical information and results of physical and neurological examinations. Using DSM-IV criteria, 579 patients (96.0%) were diagnosed with GID. We investigated immunophenotypes of macrophages in liver injury induced in rats by thioacetamide (TAA; 300 mg/kg, intraperitoneal) after hepatic macrophage depletion; hepatic macrophages were depleted by liposomal clodronate (CLD; 10 ml/kg, i.v.) one day before TAA injection.
