The Hem-o-Lok clips are widely used in various laparoscopic operations because of its easy application and secure clamping. The Hem-o-Lok clips were adopted to ligate bladder cuff during bladder cuff excision because of its advantages. We report 2 cases of bladder migration of Hem-o-Lok clips after laparoscopic nephroureterectomy and bladder cuff excision. The clips were found during routine follow-up cystoscopy and were removed by cystoscopic procedure. We described the case presentation, treatment, and the alternative method to avoid such shortcomings.

We report on a 58-year-old female patient with renal cell carcinoma simulating transitional cell carcinoma on computed tomography. We report a very rare case of intra-peritoneal spontaneous rupture of the urinary bladder which was successfully managed conservatively in a 77-year-old woman, who presented with lower abdominal pain, acute urinary retention and pelvic organ prolapse (POP). Computed tomography raised the suspicion of bladder rupture which was later confirmed by cystoscopy and cystogram. Following 8 weeks of urinary catheterisation, the bladder healed spontaneously. A subsequent sub-total abdominal hysterectomy and sacrocervicopexy were performed to treat the POP. The management of bladder rupture is discussed.

A case of primary carcinoma of the remaining ureter is reported. A 70-year-old man presented with asymptomatic gross hematuria. Three years ago, he had received right nephrectomy for pyonephrosis. Although drip infusion pyelography (DIP) and cystoscopy showed no abnormal findings, computed tomography (CT) and retrograde ureterography demonstrated the irregular thickening of the right remaining ureteral wall. He underwent right ureterectomy with bladder cuff resection. Pathological examination revealed transitional cell carcinoma of the remaining ureter. He has been free of disease for 3 years.
