Meningeal melanocytoma refers to the uncommon clinical appearance of a generally benign tumour deriving from leptomeningeal melanocytes. Meningeal spread of this tumour is very rarely observed. We present the case of a 38-year-old man with meningeal melanocytoma of the cerebello-pontine angle, who showed a biphasic course of this disease, with a stable period followed by a steady progress within few months. Primitive neuro-ectodermal tumor (PNET) of the cauda equina is a rare entity. 18 cases have been reported in the literature so far, including 4 cases with intracranial seeding. OBJECTIVE: Deendothelialization of injuries of the artery disrupts normal vascular homeostasis, affecting both the structural integrity of the blood vessel wall, as well as the interaction of the arterial surface with blood components such as platelets, leukocytes, and circulating proteins. Twenty-one multifocal urinary tract transitional cell carcinomas, mostly bladder tumours, from a total of six patients were processed for cytogenetic analysis after short-term culturing of the tumour cells. OBJECTIVES: To evaluate the early morbidity of palladium 103 (103Pd) prostate brachytherapy.
METHODS: Thirty-two patients with Stage A or B prostate carcinoma were implanted transperineally with 103Pd using transrectal ultrasound and fluoroscopy between May 1990 and December 1992. Patients were subsequently followed to evaluate for morbidity and possibility of migration of the implanted seeds into the lungs.

Twenty-two fine needle (30 gauge) aspirations were performed in eyes enucleated for the clinical diagnosis of melanoma. The authors report a case of choroid plexus papilloma developped in the fourth ventricle. After complete surgical resection, two local recurrences of the tumor occurred, and required new surgical procedures. Eight years after the first operation, a papilloma of the right lateral ventricle was resected. The histological examination showed benign choroid plexus papilloma after each operation. Recurrence and seeding of benign choroid plexus papillomas are infrequent in the literature. For this reason, a long-term follow-up, by clinical examination and CT scan, is necessary for those patients.
