Gastrointestinal autonomic nerve (GAN) tumors, also known as plexosarcomas, are a rare distinct subtype of the gastrointestinal stromal tumors. The blood vessel lumen is an extremely rare location for a benign peripheral nerve sheath tumor like schwannoma. Less than 10 cases have been previously reported. In this report, we present a case of a 68-year-old woman who had a soft tissue nodule at the posterior calf of her left leg during a physical examination. Pathological examination was performed after complete surgical excision. The patient underwent follow-up for 12 months after surgery without evidence of recurrence or any other complication. This is the first case of intravascular schwannoma reported as a cause of vein obstruction.

Leiomyosarcomas are rare malignant tumors of the kidney. They may arise from the renal capsule, renal vein, renal pelvic musculature or renal parenchyma. The authors present two cases of benign tumors one located on the outer surface of the vulva, and the second extending beyond the vagina. The first, originating from the right pudendal lip, a lipoma measuring 23 cm in greatest diameter, weighing 6.6 kg, and the second a pedunculated, uterine smooth muscle myoma with a pedicle of 6.5 cm, maximum diameter 18 cm, weight 700 grams, which caused significant metroptosis. Leiomyomas are benign tumors of smooth muscle origin occurring throughout the genitourinary system. While leiomyomas in the uterus are frequently seen, urethral and paraurethral leiomyomas are extremely rare with a hand full of cases in the literature. Typically, periurethral leiomyomas can present with a mass protruding from the urethra originating from the proximal and posterior portion of the urethra. Herein, we present a new case of a paraurethral leiomyoma causing mass effect on the bladder leading to lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) with no gross involvement of the urethra.

Leiomyoma is a benign tumor of smooth muscles. Leiomyoma originating from the scrotum is a rare entity. We report here a case of 50-year-old male who presented with a 4-cm lump in the left side of scrotum. Clinically, it was provisionally diagnosed as sebaceous cyst and was excised. The histopathology showed findings consistent with leiomyoma. There was no cytological atypia or mitosis. The final diagnosis of solitary leiomyoma of scrotum was given. The patient was followed up regularly and is doing fine for last 4 months.

This article reports the clinical diagnosis and treatment of a 42-year-old female patient with a giant cervical leiomyoma, a rare condition. A review of the literature over the past 30 years reveals only one reported case of a cervical interstitial leiomyoma larger than 20 cm. The surgical removal of such a large cervical smooth muscle tumor poses significant challenges. Endoluminal gastric leiomyoma (GL) of the antrum is a rare benign tumor. In this paper, we report a case of a 72-year-old patient that presented for a 1-month episode of epigastric pain. Imaging found a well-limited tumor in the antrum with extrinsic compression on ulcerated congestive mucosa.
