AIMS: We have observed that Bendavia, a mitochondrial-targeting peptide that binds the phospholipid cardiolipin and stabilizes the components of electron transport and ATP generation, improves cardiac function and prevents left ventricular remodeling in a 6week rat myocardial infarction (MI) model. OBJECTIVE: Juvenile localized scleroderma (JLS) includes a number of conditions often grouped together. With the long-term goal of developing uniform classification criteria, we studied the epidemiological, clinical and immunological features of children with JLS followed by paediatric rheumatology and dermatology centres.

To evaluate the possible causes of recurrent spontaneous abortion (RSA) and to elucidate the prognosis for subsequent pregnancies 63 RSA patients were studied.
