The cellular response to Leishmania major (L. major) is usually evaluated in vivo by the delayed-type-hypersensitivity (DTH) test using leishmanin. Ethylene oxide (ETO) is used to sterilize hemodialyzers and other medical equipment. In an attempt to confirm a link between ETO and hypersensitivity reactions during hemodialysis (HD) we quantitated IgE and total antibody directed against ETO-altered human serum albumin (ETO-HSA) in the sera of 65 hemodialysis patients. We report a case of contact dermatitis caused by both efinaconazole, a topical triazole antifungal drug, and luliconazole, a topical imidazole antifungal drug. The aim of this study was to determine the usefulness of a yeast-phase exo-antigen of Histoplasma capsulatum in standard serologic reactions … , aspergillosis and candidiasis respectively were studied by ID with the aim of detecting serologic cross reactions.
