PURPOSE: To report a case of exudative retinal detachment as the presenting feature of tuberous sclerosis complex.
METHODS: A 14-year-old girl presented with loss of vision in the right eye for 1 month. Visual acuity was no perception of light in the right eye and 20/20 in the left eye. Clinical examination, fundus fluorescein angiography, spectral domain optical coherence tomography, and ultrasound B-scan was performed along with complete systemic evaluation.

After cataract surgery, a 69-year-old man presented with hypotony and choroidal effusion followed by retinal pigment epithelium tear and exudative detachment of the retina. CLINICAL FEATURES: A patient underwent placement of an epidural catheter for vaginal delivery of twins. Following a loss of resistance technique using air a small amount of fluid was aspirated through the needle and subsequently through the epidural catheter. Abdominal ultrasound examinations of 20 dogs with confirmed leptospirosis were reviewed retrospectively for renal abnormalities. Three dogs had a normal ultrasound examination. The remaining 17 dogs had sonographic abnormalities of the kidneys. We present the case of a 35-year-old woman with a severe ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) as a complication of ovulation induction for primary infertility. The clinical picture showed massively enlarged ovaries, pleural effusion and haemoconcentration. She needed a thoracentesis for evacuation of the large pleural effusion.
