We present the 18 F-AlF-NOTA-pentixather PET/CT findings in a 53-year-old man with papillary thyroid carcinoma and cervical lymph node metastases. The patient underwent 18 F-AlF-NOTA-pentixather PET/CT for evaluation of primary aldosteronism, which incidentally revealed a thyroid neoplasm. PET/CT demonstrated increased radiotracer uptake in a thyroid mass and bilateral cervical lymph nodes, suggesting neoplastic involvement. Postoperative histopathology confirmed anaplastic thyroid carcinoma with lymph node metastases.

PURPOSE: Angiogenesis is crucial in myocardial healing after myocardial infarction (MI). The αvβ3-integrin, a key regulator of angiogenesis, is targeted by RGD-based PET tracers like [68Ga]Ga-NODAGA-RGD. Yet, angiogenesis imaging using RGD-based tracers is seriously hampered by the lack of true specificity of the αvβ3-integrin for angiogenic cells. Therefore, our study aimed to identify the cell type with the highest αvβ3-integrin expression in the process of myocardial healing in order to determine the actual value of the PET tracer [68Ga]Ga-NODAGA-RGD for imaging post-MI angiogenesis.

Theranostic programs are expanding rapidly, creating a growing need to understand how institutions implement [177Lu]Lu-DOTATATE therapy and [177Lu]Lu-PSMA-617 therapy in clinical practice. Inflammatory linear verrucous epidermal nevus (ILVEN) is a chronic, a linear, or whorled array of inflammatory, following the lines of Blaschko. Treatment of ILVEN is challenging with numerous therapies of varying degrees of success reported. We present a case of ILVEN in a 5-year-old-boy, treated successfully with crisaborole 2% ointment. This brief report suggests that there may be additional cellular immunologic pathways responsible for the presentation of ILVEN that may be explained by management with crisaborole use.

Bis(arylimido)Cr(VI) dialkyls lacking β-hydrogen decompose by α-hydrogen abstraction and, upon trapping with triphenylphosphine, yield isolable alkylidene complexes. Two such complexes, namely (ArN)2Cr═CHR(PPh3) (R = tBu, SiMe3), have been structurally characterized. The coordinatively unsaturated alkylidene intermediates are highly reactive; they effect C-H activation of saturated hydrocarbons and they react with olefins to produce metallacyclobutanes.

An efficient method for the synthesis of fused pyrroloheterocycles from diverse propargyl-substituted heterocycles in the presence of Au-catalyst has been developed. The cascade transformation proceeds via alkyne-vinylidene isomerization with concomitant 1,2-shift of hydrogen, silyl, and stannyl groups. Remarkably, it was also shown that previously unknown 1,2-migration of a germyl group upon alkyne-vinylidene rearrangement occurs under these reaction conditions. This method allows for mild and efficient synthesis of diverse C-2 substituted N-containing heterocycles.
