BACKGROUND: Cow's milk protein sensitive enteropathy (CMPSE) is a common condition in the first year of life. Clinically CMPSE usually presents with symptoms like vomiting, chronic diarrhea, mucous bloody diarrhea and hematemesis. More unusual symptoms associated with CMPSE are infantile colic, gastroesophageal reflux and chronic constipation. The objective of this study was to assess the gastrointestinal manifestations and allergic march in CMPSE patients.

No solution has been found to induce immune tolerance (IT) in patients with cow's milk allergy (CMA), and it is an urgent problem to resolve. In this study, the ability of different whey hydrolysates to induce IT was investigated based on the mouse model. BACKGROUND: Lipid formation from glycerol was previously found to be activated in Rhodotorula toruloides when the yeast was cultivated in a mixture of crude glycerol (CG) and hemicellulose hydrolysate (CGHH) compared to CG as the only carbon source. AIMS/HYPOTHESIS: We examined the presence of functional cannabinoid receptors 1 and 2 (CB1, CB2) in isolated human islets, phenotyped the cells producing cannabinoid receptors and analysed the actions of selective cannabinoid receptor agonists on insulin, glucagon and somatostatin secretion in vitro. In this study, we used traditional laboratory methods, bioinformatics, and cellular models to screen novel ACE inhibitory (ACEI) peptides with strong ACEI activity, moderate absorption rates, and multiple targets from bovine colostrum immunoglobulin G (IgG). In this study, we investigated the antihypertensive effects in vitro and in vivo of novel angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitory (ACEI) peptides purified and identified from bovine bone gelatin hydrolysate (BGH).
