INTRODUCTION: Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor (IMT) is a new entity recently described, first in the lung. IMT are found throughout the body.
CASE: We report a very rare tongue localization in a 22-year-old white woman. After a first diagnosis of fibrosarcoma, a new examination of the slide and immunohistochemical examination led to the definitive diagnosis of inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor of the tongue and not fibrosarcoma.

Angiomyolipomas (AMLs) are benign tumors consisting of smooth muscle-like cells, adipocyte-like cells, and epithelioid cells. They are usually renal in origin, and extrarenal AMLs are rare. Cutaneous AMLs are even more rare. We present a case of 65 year old female, with no underlying genetic condition, who developed bilateral facial cutaneous AMLs. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first case in the literature. In addition, we investigate and suggest a correlation between human immunodeficiency virus and AMLs.

Solitary fibrous tumors (SFTs) are relatively rare neoplasms that commonly occur in the pleura. The pathological feature of SFTs is a proliferation of spindle-shaped cells in interlacing or storiform fascicles. SFTs appear to derived from pluripotential submesothelial cells, but not the covering mesothelium. SFTs distinctively show diffuse staining for CD34 but lack staining for smooth muscle markers. We herein report a relatively rare case of a 68-year-old male patient without symptoms, who underwent resection for what was considered to be SFT.

Leiomyomas are benign tumors characterized by overgrowth of visceral smooth muscle in the respiratory, gastrointestinal, and female reproductive tracts. They rarely develop in the urinary system and only 10 cases of unilateral ureteral leiomyoma (UL) have been reported since 1955. No cases of bilateral UL or ureteropelvic junction obstruction due to UL have ever been reported. We present a case of bilateral UL with bilateral ureteropelvic junction obstruction. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first such case report in the English literature.
