Eleven cases of pericardial cysts and 3 cases of pericardial diverticulum were reported. The prominent X-ray manifestations were a round or oval shape shadow with homogeneous density and smooth border in the mediastinum. In this series, the sizes of the lesions were 5-22 cm in diameter with averaged 9.9 cm. The surgical treatment results of 68 patients with duodenal diverticulum were analyzed, 21 of whom the various interventions on biliary tracts for cholelithic disease and her complications earlier were conducted. The authors sum up an experience with treatment of 87 patients with Meckel's diverticulum which was the cause of an acute surgical pathology in 66 patients, chronic disease in 5 cases and 16 patients had no alterations. Meckel's diverticulum is one of the primary concerns in the differential diagnosis of the pediatric patient with massive, acute gastrointestinal bleeding, intussusception, or abdominal pain of uncertain cause. The hospital course of two children with Meckel's diverticulum, successfully treated by laparoscopic excision, is presented, along with details of the operative procedure. An intraduodenal diverticulum in 54 year old woman which caused alcalculous cholecystitis and pancreatitis is described. The diverticulum was missed at the first operation, performed for acute cholecystitis. Before the second it was interpreted as a pancreatic cyst. At the second intervention, the cyst wall was excised through a duodenotomy. Histological examination of the wall of the diverticulum is crucial for correct diagnosis.

We describe the unusual case of a 20-year-old Aboriginal man who was admitted to hospital with chest pain. He died 1 day later. Necropsy showed extensive anterior myocardial infarction in the left ventricle. An isolated diverticulum arising from the subaortic valve region of the left ventricle had compressed the left main coronary artery.

A 39 year-old woman with a tumor shadow in the right upper mediastinum noticed by chest x-ray examination of mass survey was presented. Chest x-ray films taken 5 times in a month in a same position showed the mass further changed in size. This result indicates the communication between the mass and pericardial cavity. Surgical extirpation was carried out and diagnosed a pericardial diverticulum.

Nephrogenic adenoma is a benign metaplasic lesion of uncertain aetiology. The tenth case of this curious entity in a diverticulum of urethra in women is presented here. The probable factors which intervene in its pathogenesis are discussed in this paper, including a short review of the literature.

The results of the treatment of 102 children at the age of from 25 days to 14 years with the Meckel's diverticulum (uncomplicated--in 37, complicated--in 65) were analysed. Tactics of treatment depended on the state and age of the children, history of the disease, findings of roentgenocontrast and radionuclide study of the stomach and intestine, laparoscopy, macro- and microscopic picture, state of the abdominal cavity at the moment of operation. In most patients, the favourable results of treatment were achieved. The lethality was 3%.

A significant association between Meckel's diverticulum and Crohn's disease has been suggested in the clinical literature. Ten patients with entities demonstrated radiographically as well as cases reported in the literature were analyzed to determine the relevance of this association to radiologic evaluation.
