Lung transplantation is a complex psychodynamic process. In a prior study, the authors investigated 40 patients who had just undergone lung transplant operations. Choroid plexus papillomas (CPPs) are benign but rare neuroepithelial neoplasms of the choroid plexus that represent the non-malignant form of a spectrum of tumors of the choroid plexus. This study assessed the contribution of baseline psychological symptoms, combat exposure, and unit support in the etiology of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and psychological distress.
