We report a kinetic and mechanistic study into the one-electron reduction of the archetypal Lewis acid tris(pentafluorophenyl)borane, B(C(6)F(5))(3), in dichloromethane and 1,2-difluorobenzene. OBJECTIVE: Osteoarthritis (OA) is a prevalent and debilitating degenerative joint disease in both humans and companion animals, leading to chronic pain and mobility loss. The inflammation has been identified to play a critical role in OA progression.
