We herein report a case of sex cord/stromal tumor of the testis. A 28-year-old man was admitted to our hospital with the chief complaint of painless swelling of the left scrotal contents. On examination, gynecomastia or swelling of superficial lymph nodes was not observed. With a diagnosis of left testicular tumor, left high orchiectomy was performed. A patient with Kallman syndrome is presented emphasizing the urologic aspects of this unusual disorder. Testes biopsy at the time of orchiopexy demonstrated infantile testes with interstitial fibrosis and a diminished Leydig and Sertoli cell population. Five male patients with infertility due to biopsy-proven germinal cell aplasia were given a 100-microng bolus of luteinizing hormone (LH)/follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH)-releasing hormone (LRH), and the resultant LH, FSH, and testosterone responses were correlated with their histologic patterns on testicular biopsy.
