We have recently cloned the gene responsible for the mouse neurological disorder dystonia musculorum. The predicted product of this gene, dystonin (Dst), is a neural isoform of bullous pemphigoid antigen 1 (Bpag1) with an N-terminal actin binding domain. BACKGROUND: When the conservative treatment is not recommended, Nipple Sparing Mastectomy (NSM) is proposed more and more frequently for the surgical treatment of breast cancer. The risk of local recurrence behind the nipple areolar complex (NAC) is the main limiting factor of the NSM procedure. The soluble portion of a large particle fraction which was derived from the muscle larva of T. spiralis was subjected to molecular sizing column chromatography using Sephacryl S-200.
