OBJECTIVE: The research objective was to identify processes that could either facilitate or hinder clinical implementation of an Internet-based cognitive behavioural therapy intervention for tinnitus in the UK. This was done by exploring the research context, the intervention components and the factors that contributed to the outcomes obtained.
DESIGN: This study investigated eight processes including the recruitment strategies, reach, research context, treatment dose delivered and received, implementation fidelity, barriers to implementation and effectiveness of the intervention.

INTRODUCTION: Testicular microdissection sperm extraction (MD-TESE) combined with intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) has made biological fatherhood possible for many men with the most severe form of male infertility, non-obstructive azoospermia. AIM: To estimate an efficacy of endoscopic treatment of benign cicatricial esophageal strictures using ionized argon plasma.
MATERIAL AND METHODS: It is presented treatment of 35 patients with post-ambustial and 17 patients with peptic strictures of the esophagus. Their age ranged from 17 to 73 years. Esophageal stenosis achieved 0.1-1.0 cm. Local, tubular and prolonged stenoses were observed in 18 (51.5%), 3 (8.6%) and 14 (39.9%) patients respectively. Peptic stenoses were local in 100% of cases and localized in lower esophagus before cardia.

OBJECTIVE: This study investigated the relation between clients' attachment patterns and the therapeutic alliance in two psychotherapies for bulimia nervosa.
METHOD: Data derive from a randomized clinical trial comparing cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and psychoanalytic psychotherapy (PPT) for bulimia nervosa. Client attachment patterns were assessed with the Adult Attachment Interview. The current study compared adherence rates as measured by two indirect measurement methods (pill count and daily medication diary) to two direct measurement methods (urine riboflavin and serum 6-OH-buspirone level measurement) among participants (n = 109) in a medication treatment trial for cannabis dependence.
