Mooren's ulcer is a painless and idiopathic ulcer of the peripheral cornea related to autoimmunity against a corneal stromal antigen, calgranulin C. Corneal involvement is isolated. BACKGROUND: Buruli ulcer (BU) is caused by Mycobacterium ulcerans, an environmental pathogen that causes severe skin and soft-tissue necrosis. In Australia, cases of BU are acquired in endemic regions, which include Victoria and Far North Queensland, but those who have visited these regions can present to health practitioners anywhere.

Massive lower gastrointestinal (GI) bleeding from stercoral ulcers is exceedingly rare. We report a case of a middle-aged man who presented with progressively deteriorating neurologic function with constipation and subsequent massive GI bleeding per rectum. While an uncommon cause of GI bleeding, such patients require rapid resuscitation and timely diagnosis of these ulcers since the usual management of such cases will be futile and harmful due to potentially inappropriate surgical bowel resection.

AIM: To explore the service provision for compression therapy for inpatients with leg ulcers in UK hospitals.
METHODS: An online survey was carried out to explore the service provision in hospital settings. It was distributed to Wounds UK National Conference delegates and to wound care specialist groups using social media.
RESULTS: The authors received 101 responses from health professionals in the UK. Of these, 67.3% reported there was no dedicated service for inpatients with leg ulceration and only 32% said compression therapy was provided in their hospitals.

The endoscopic findings of diffuse large B cell lymphoma have various presentations. In our case, the patient had developed multiple elevated central ulceration lesions, and the peripheral elevated portion had a heaped-up margin. The margin had a sharp, smooth edge that was not infiltrative and could be confused with a simple gastric ulcer. Endoscopists should be aware of the possibility of multiple lymphoma ulcers with heaped-up margins. We present some unusual endoscopic features of lymphoma, which are easily misdiagnosed as gastric ulcers.

PURPOSE: To describe a case of central corneal ulceration in a newborn secondary to congenital entropion.
OBSERVATIONS: Corneal ulcers during infancy are rare and may occur secondary to congenital structural anomalies, including congenital entropion. Correct anatomic eyelid position in newborns is challenging to determine with closed eyelids, and eyelid squeezing during crying and discomfort adds to this challenge.
