Twin-twin transfusion develops in 10-20% of monochorionic twin pregnancies. As far as we know the underlying disturbance is an unbalanced anastomosis between the two fetuses on the placental surface. PURPOSE: The authors studied the effectiveness of laserpexy versus cryopexy for treatment of acute retinopathy of prematurity.
METHODS: Seventy-six eyes in 41 patients were treated for acute retinopathy of prematurity from January 1991 to April 1994.

We describe a case of iris vascular tufts which came to our attention because of a hyphaema. Laser treatment was carried out for the vascular anomalies. After a period of 3 months, fresh vascular anomalies had appeared in different locations. Further treatment led to permanent obliteration. We emphasize the importance of fluoro-iridography in the monitoring of vascular anomalies as it allows accurate targeting treatment.

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate diode laser photocoagulation effects in type 1 prethreshold retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) in Peking University People's Hospital.
METHODS: Retrospective cross-sectional study. Clinical records of the premature infants treated for type 1 prethreshold ROP from the year of 2008 to 2012 were reviewed.
