BACKGROUND: Iatrogenic Cushing's syndrome induced by oral and parenteral glucocorticoid administration is a well-known complication. Immediate withdrawal from exogenous steroids can lead to life-threatening adrenal insufficiency. Propionibacterium acnes play a key role in the inflammation of this dermatosis.
