Urethral polyp is a rare cause of bladder outlet obstruction, voiding dysfunction, and hematuria in the pediatric age group. Urethral polyps are rarely associated with other congenital urinary tract anomalies. In this study, we report a case of solitary posterior urethral polyp with type I posterior urethral valve in a 7-day-old neonate presented with urinary retention and deranged renal function. Functional bladder capacity at a certain age can be accurately estimated and expressed as a function of age. We present a 13-year-old boy with abdominal distention who was presumed to have ascites. Abdominal ultrasound revealed that the bladder was severely distended, and cystoscopy showed a short stricture in the bulbar urethra followed by a large bladder without obvious borders. Under general anesthesia, bladder capacity was 9250 cc. Reduction cystoplasty was performed. At the 2-year follow-up, he voided spontaneously with 20 cc post-void residual urine.

We describe a unique association of congenital rectourethral fistula with long tubular duplication of the colon in a boy with Klippel-Feil syndrome and Sprengel deformity. A 77-year-old woman who had never lived in a tropical area was referred to our hospital in November 2006 because of hypoproteinemia and chyluria. Cystoscopy revealed milky urine flowing from left ureteral orifice. Computed tomography showed small lymph nodes around the left side of the aorta but no carcinoma could be seen. We diagnosed her with idiopathic chyluria and recommended low fatty meals, but chyluria did not disappear. In March 2007 povidone iodine was instilled retrogradedly and chyluria disappeared immediately. As of December 2007, chyluria has not recurred.

The case is reported of an arteriovesical fistula after a gunshot wound to the pelvis in a 29-year-old man. It developed 20 days after an exploratory laparotomy with primary suture of the bladder. The patient presented with intermittent gross hematuria and diagnosis was made through cystoscopy and arteriogram. Treatment was initially performed through open embolization. A middle-aged woman presented with painless hematuria and passage of large clots. Two weeks earlier, she had pyrexia with upper respiratory tract symptoms. With the use of these two clinical cases (cyst and urachal adenocarcinoma) we did an overview of the urachal pathology. The urachus cyst is usually asyntomathic, it's detected randomly when we do other diagnostic tests or when we have any complications. A rare case of clear cell adenocarcinoma within a bladder diverticulum is presented. A 69-year-old man presented to our institution with gross hematuria. Workup, including computed tomography and cystoscopy, revealed a papillary bladder mass within a bladder diverticulum near the right ureteral orifice. OBJECTIVE: The present study reviews bladder leiomyoma, an uncommon pathology. The problems of differential diagnosis and the therapeutic options are discussed and the literature reviewed.

The authors report a case of cystitis due to Toxoplasma Gondii infection in a patient suffering from AIDS. We reviewed and compared the computed tomographic (CT) findings for 5 patients suspected of having enterovesical fistulae with convential radiographic studies and the results of cystoscopy. Prior to scanning, patients were rectally administered 200 ml of 0.8% wt/vol barium solution, and then evacuated before they were administered 200 ml of olive oil via the anus and 100 ml of olive oil via the urethra.
