BACKGROUND: Carcinoma vulva is a rare disease accounting for 1.3% of all gynaecological malignancies. The present study is a 10-year retrospective review of our experience of the surgical options, morbidity, failure pattern, and survival for invasive carcinoma vulva.
MATERIALS AND METHODS: Retrospective analysis of case records of 39 patients who underwent surgery for invasive vulval cancer between 2004 and 2013 in the Department of Surgical Oncology at the Government Royapettah Hospital, Chennai.

This study aimed to assess the likelihood of an outbreak or epidemic of emerging infectious diseases (EIDs) in Shaoxing city, China, and its resulting impact to provide decision makers with quantitative, directive results. The objective of this study was to assess the perceptions of some Nigerian nurses on the various societal beliefs about teething. The prevalence of S. haematobium infection in 18 Local Government Area (LGA) in Ondo state was determined by examining pupils from randomly selected schools in the state. A total of 4266 urine samples were examined and 1303 (30.5%) were infected with the parasite. The infection was recorded in both rural and urban communities in each LGA.
