Yersinia enterocolitica infection is responsible in human beings for ileocolitis appearing with abdominal pain, diarrhoea and fever. This kind of disease usually heals spontaneously with no remarkable complication. Intestinal perforation is a rare complication of the disease. PURPOSE: To observe the therapeutic effect of squamous blepharitis treated with liquefacient nitrogen cryotherapy.
METHODS: 126 patients (234 eyes) with squamous blepharitis were randomly divided into two groups. Observation group 65 patients (120 eyes) were treated with liquefacient nitrogen cryotherapy adding antibiotic eye drops and ointments. OBJECTIVE: To observe the therapeutic effects of triclabendazole in the treatment of dogs with Paragonimiasis westermani.
METHODS: Six dogs were experimentally infected, each with 100 metacercariae of Paragonimus westermani intraperitoneally and divided into untreated and treated groups, 3 dogs were treated orally with triclabendazole 100 mg/kg.d-1 for 2 consecutive days on day 170 after infection. Stool egg count was done by Stoll method. All dogs were killed on day 38 after treatment and the number of worm cysts and worms in the lungs were examined by naked eye and microscopically.

PROBLEM: Reliable evaluation of vestibular compensation in indispensable to determine whether labyrinth surgery or vestibular neurectomy is indicated. It is also important for postoperative follow-up. Vestibular compensation can manifest itself differently in distinct frequency ranges.
