We describe a new technique for internal drainage of lymphocele following renal transplantation performed by laparoscopy. After induction of the pneumoperitoneum, using the cautery hook, a wide opening in the lymphocele peritoneal wall has been performed allowing the lymph flow to enter the peritoneal cavity. A portion of the omentum has been pushed inside the lymphocele cavity and fixed to the parietal peritoneum in order to avoid closure of the peritoneal window. BACKGROUND: Vaginal laceration during coitus is not a rare occurrence; however, vaginal perforation from coitus is uncommon and occurs in less than 1% of nonobstetric genital tract injuries. Limited case reports exist discussing the recognition and management of vaginal perforation. Previously described management is commonly performed with laparotomy.
CASE: We report a case of postcoital vaginal laceration and posterior fornix perforation in an adolescent with hemoperitoneum, pneumoperitoneum, and subsequent hypovolemic shock, and describe a laparoscopic approach for repair.

We encountered a case of sealed perforated duodenal ulcer in a 75-year-old woman with rheumatoid arthritis and chronic renal failure. In recent years, laparoscopy has dramatically changed the approach to the patient with acute abdominal pain. We report the case of a patient with small bowel volvulus caused by a congenital band binding the greater omentum to the mesentery, which was promptly diagnosed and treated using laparoscopy. Early intervention averted irreversible ischemic lesions of the intestine and the need for bowel resection. With the routine use of laparoscopy in the setting of acute abdominal pain, rare affections can be easily diagnosed and effectively treated.

We present a case of confined duodenal ulcer perforation diagnosed on ultrasound. Locules of gas were visible in the fissure for ligamentum teres along with a small amount of free fluid in Morrison's pouch and thickening of the gall bladder wall. To our knowledge, "free" intraperitoneal gas confined to the fissure for ligamentum teres has not previously been reported as an ultrasound finding in perforated duodenal ulcer.

In surgical treatment of hepatic amebic abscesses by means of extensive dissection and drainage the postoperative lethality remains high. The literature data and the author's own observations on 30 patients, who underwent puncture of amebic abscess of the liver together with specific and antibacterial therapy, which resulted in their recovery, permit to consider paracentensis as a method of choice, when there are no complications, such as a purulent discharge into the adjoining organs and tissues, which calls for surgical intervention.

There were 102 cases of intestinal perforation seen in children at the Department of Paediatric Surgery at S.S. Hospital, Varanasi during a 3 year period.
