BACKGROUND: the optimal duration of percutaneous cholecystostomy in patients with acute cholecystitis is unknown.
METHODS: this study was a retrospective analysis of patients (age ≥ 18 years) who underwent percutaneous cholecystostomy due to acute calculous cholecystitis.
