BACKGROUND Giant Condyloma Acuminatum (GCA) presents difficulties in therapeutic management, mainly due to local invasion and recurrences. Treatment measures vary from topical agents to aggressive methods such as surgical excision, radiation, laser surgery, chemotherapy, immunotherapy or their combination. In this study, the case has been reported of a scrotal tumor in a 50-year old male admitted with a large warty lesion at the base of the scrotum which resembled a giant condyloma accuminatum (Buschk-Lowenstein tumor). The HIV serology was negative, but the papillomavirus findings were positive. A complete resection of the tumor was performed. Treatment of anogenital warts in children is difficult. Commonly used therapeutic regimes can be painful, variably effective and recurrence rates are high. Imiquimod is a recently developed imidazoquinolin heterocyclic amine that is an immune response modifier. Topical imiquimod has been used successfully to treat anogenital warts in adults. This case documents the effective use of topical imiquimod in the treatment of perianal warts in children.

A 24-year-old male appeared with complaint of tumors at the urethral meatus. Cystourethroscopy showed multiple papillary lesions along the anterior urethra until 2 cm distance from the urethral meatus. Electrofulguration was performed on these tumors and condyloma acuminatum was verified by histopathological examination.
