Endocrine disruptors (EDs) such as bisphenol A (BPA), nonylphenol (NP), octylphenol (OP) and heavy metals in drinking water supply represent a significant threat to human health. PURPOSE: We sought to determine the prevalence of trachoma in each local government area (LGA) of Benue State, Nigeria.
METHODS: Two-stage cluster sampling was used to conduct a series of 23 population-based prevalence surveys. LGAs were the evaluation units surveyed.
