The guanidinium salt of the new heteropolymolybdate 11-molybdobismuthophosphate Gua(6)PBiMo(11)O(40) (11-MBP) was synthesized, characterized and used as a reagent for batch spectrophotometric (SP) and sequential injection determination of ascorbic acid (AsA). When compared to other Keggin's heteropolyanions, the reduction of 11-MBP with AsA is both fast and maximal within a pH range of 1.6-2.0. The stoichiometry of the reaction was determined using molar ratio and continuous variation methods and was shown to be 1:1. The presence of both ordered surfactant molecular assemblies and a metal ion catalyst in the system is essential for the phosphorescence of benzaldehyde (emitter) produced by the aerobic oxidation of PPA in alkaline solution. Different AgX (where X is Cl(-), Br(-), I(-) and N(3)(-)) solid-phase reagents (SPR) were tested for indirect determination of cyanide. In this study, the effects of vasodilator drugs on the turbulent sound generation mechanisms during femoral artery stenoses were investigated using the wavelet analysis of the turbulent sounds to characterize these sounds before and after the injection of vasodilator drugs.
