This case report describes a new surgical approach for the treatment of cyclodialysis. The treatment of cyclodialysis cleft associated with hypotony is in a period of evolution. In this report, a patient with traumatic cyclodialysis associated with hypotony maculopathy was treated with contact transscleral diode laser therapy to the cleft areas. The contact diode laser therapy resulted in closure of the clefts, reversal of hypotony, and resolution of maculopathy with improvement in vision. The results of this study show that this technique can be less invasive than other surgical options.

The outcomes of treatment of 140 patients with tuberculous parapneumatic serous pleurisy are presented, Intrapleural low-energy laser radiation, epicutaneous low-energy pulse radiation, and the successive application of both techniques were used during etiotropic therapy and regular exudate aspirations. There was reduction in the time of exudation into the pleural cavity, as well as recovery with less pronounced pleural impositions.

Thirty-nine patients with obstructing tracheobronchial tumours were treated with Neodymium: Yttrium-Aluminium-Garnet (Nd: YAG) laser photocoagulation over a period of six years. INTRODUCTION: This real-world, retrospective review of SLT outcomes at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust aimed to establish whether there is any net benefit in using topical drop treatment prior to SLT compared with proceeding directly to SLT as a first-line treatment. In-vitro experimental parametric studies of laser ablation using natural sialoliths and artificial stones have been performed toward an efficient laser treatment of sialolithiasis.
