A primary leiomyosarcoma of the os calcis, occurring in a 68-year-old woman and treated by below-the-knee amputation, is reported. The diagnosis was confirmed by electron microscopy, and supported by immunochemistry. These techniques can be performed in a primary spindle cell osseous neoplasm to distinguish leiomyosarcoma from fibrosarcoma and malignant fibrous histiocytoma. The case of leiomyosarcoma of the spermatic cord in a 54 year old man is reported. The patient was treated by surgical orchiepididymectomy and funnilectomy. After a review of the literature, the clinical and anatomopathological feature of this rare tumour and the surgical approach to it are discussed. The patient has had no recurrences and is still alive 16 months after surgery.

A case of renal leiomyosarcoma is presented. A 65-year-old man was admitted with asymptomatic gross hematuria. On excretory pyelography, the left kidney was not visualized. Computed tomography showed a left intrarenal mass. The patient underwent left radical nephrectomy. The histological diagnosis was leiomyosarcoma probably originating from the left renal pelvis.

Surgical myomectomy is an effective treatment option with a risk of disseminating occult uterine leiomyosarcoma (LMS), creating a need for an effective presurgical screening protocol. Leiomyosarcomas (LMS) are rare sinonasal malignant tumours with 20 cases of nasal LMS previously reported in the literature. An 81-year-old man presented with an incidental left nasal lesion associated with left nasal obstruction and occasional left-sided blood-stained rhinorrhoea. INTRODUCTION: Uterine leiomyosarcoma is a rare uterine malignancy. Most of the patients lack symptoms or present with a rapidly enlarging pelvic mass.
PRESENTATION OF CASE: We report on a very large leiomyosarcoma in a woman presenting with a 3 months history of rapidly growing adominal mass and fatigue. Laparotomy was performed and diagnosis was confirmed by pathologic and histologic analysis. Patient refused chemotherapy after surgery and died from recurrence at 4th postoperative month.

Leiomyosarcomas of soft tissue are the rare tumors and the retroperitoneum is the most common site involved. We report a case of primary leiomyosarcoma of the peritoneal cavity which clinically presented with suprapubic, freely mobile, nontender mass which measured 10×10 cm in size.
