Botryoid sarcoma is a subtype of rhabdomyosarcoma affecting soft tissues and exceptionally the cervix. We here report the case of an 18-year-old female patient presenting to the emergency department with a feeling of pelvic heaviness, metrorrhagia and urinary retention. In a prospective study on 104 patients, who were admitted because of a suspected ectopic pregnancy (EU), Serum-lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) was evaluated. OBJECTIVE: We report one case of ovarian metastasis secondary to a renal clear cell carcinoma.
METHODS/RESULTS: 52 year-old consulting for metrorrhagia with the initial diagnosis of primary ovarian carcinoma. Tumor dissemination work up tests reported a renal mass suggestive of ovarian metastasis. Surgery included hysterectomy, double annexectomy, and radical nephrectomy. Final diagnosis was renal clear cell carcinoma with ovarian metastasis.

A 17-year-old girl with a history of dysfunctional uterine bleeding (DUB) and severe dysmenorrhoea was treated with different conventional hormonal therapies for 16 months without improvement.Treatment with traditional Chinese acupuncture was started while she was taking oral contraceptives. She received a total of 27 treatments in 17 weeks. Her menstrual cycle normalised after 4 weeks (10 treatments). The frequency of pregnancy after endometrial ablation is reported in the literature to be 0.7%, with a variety of complications and adverse outcomes for the fetus. A 30-year-old woman underwent rollerball endometrial ablation for menometrorrhagia. Her menses returned to normal and she conceived 16 months later. The pregnancy was uncomplicated apart from diet-controlled gestational diabetes and cesarean delivery for a transverse lie. To our knowledge, this is the first literature report of a viable pregnancy after rollerball ablation.
