Radiological imaging in the field of erectile dysfunction has diminished in importance over the past 5 years with the advent of new therapies. However, in selected cases, Doppler scanning continues to have a role, and current research is aimed at optimizing the results of the tests. In addition, the new techniques of functional magnetic resonance imaging and positron emission tomography scanning are beginning to offer new insights into the central mechanisms which control erections.

INTRODUCTION: Penile traction therapy (PTT) and vacuum erection devices (VED) are nonsurgical conservative treatment options that have been used in the treatment of various urologic and sexual disorders such as Peyronie's Disease (PD) and Erectile Dysfunction (ED). Recently expanded uses for these therapies now include penile lengthening and with surgical interventions such as penile prosthesis surgery (PPS) and radical prostatectomy (RP). These devices can be used as both monotherapy or combination therapy.
OBJECTIVES: To review the indications and clinical studies for PTT and VED.

Deviation of the penis may be congenital or acquired. The latter, also known as Peyronie's disease, is seen in 0.4-9% of patients. The aetiology is not fully understood, but the hypothesis is that microtrauma leads to scar tissue formation, plaques, which deform the penis. OBJECTIVE: Contribution of a case of penile metastasis in a patient with metastatic rectal carcinoma.
METHODS: A 70-Year-old patient was referred to our consultation after the discovery of "penis indurations" having been diagnosed of rectal carcinoma 18 months before. After physical examination penile biopsies were carried out.
RESULTS: The pathological results of the Glans biopsy was "rectal adenocarcinoma metastasis".
CONCLUSIONS: Metastases in the penis are rare, and usually occur in the context of advanced oncological disease.

Penile metastasis rarely occurs as a unique and early distant recurrence of urothelial bladder carcinoma. A 77-year-old male underwent a radical cystoprostatecomy for a pT3a urothelial bladder cancer. Preoperative imaging workup concluded to a disease confined to the bladder.
