PURPOSE: We examined the incidence and distribution of photosensitivity among the different age groups and different types of epilepsies and epileptic syndromes. Furthermore, we considered the influence of ethnic and geographic factors on the incidence of photoparoxysmal response (PPR) in epilepsy patients.

Circadian rhythms of pineal melatonin release were measured in free-moving pigeons, Japanese quails, and chickens under light-dark cycles followed by constant dim light.
