New mono Mannich bases, (2-(4-hydroxy-3-((4-substituephenylpiperazin-1-yl)methyl)benzylidene)-2,3-dihydro-1H-inden-1-one), were prepared to evaluate their cytotoxic/anticancer properties and also their inhibitory effects on human carbonic anhydrase I and II isoenzymes (hCA I and II). AIMS: Our study focuses on the design and synthesis of a new piperazinic derivate, 4-(1-phenyl-1h-Pyrazol-4-Ylmethyl)-Piperazine-1-Carboxylic Acid Ethyl ester (LQFM008), and evaluation of its anxiolytic-like profile in Swiss mice.

Tyrosinase inhibitors have potential applications in pharmaceutical and cosmetic products, and also in the food industry. This study aimed to discover novel tyrosinase inhibitors with high inhibitory activity and low toxicity. The number of disseminated adenovirus (Ad) infections continues to increase mostly due to the growing use of immunosuppressive treatments. Recipients of solid organ or hematopoietic stem cell transplants, mainly in pediatric units, exhibit a high morbidity and mortality due to these infections. Piperazines such as 1-benzylpiperazine (BZP), 1-(3-trifluromethylphenyl)piperazine (3-TFMPP), and 1-(3-chlorophenyl)piperazine (3-CPP) have become recent drugs of abuse.
