Calcium pantetheine-S-sulfonate (PaSSO3Ca) is one of the pantothenic acid derivatives. We examined PaSSO3Ca inhibition capacity of tyrosinase activity in vitro. For the safety evaluation when it will be applied to the human skin, we tested PaSSO3Ca creams to the fifty one patients with skin diseases by 48 hours closed patch test method. And clinical evaluation of PaSSO3Ca creams were performed in fifty patients with chloasma by half side method. Under the combined action of trichloroisocyanuric acid (TCCA) and triflic acid (TfOH), tertiary sulfonamides are efficiently activated, leading to the in situ generation of electrophilic sulfonamide salts. These electrophilic salts subsequently undergo nucleophilic substitution by alcohols, resulting in the formation of sulfonate esters under mild conditions. Other advantages of this method include the absence of transition-metal catalysts, broad substrate applicability, and high functional-group tolerance.

A self-immolative γ-aminopropylsulfonate linker was investigated for use in the development of prodrugs that are reactive to various chemical or biological stimuli. The photosensitizing properties of a novel phthalocyanine analogue, sulfonated dihydroxy phosphorus(V) tetrabenzotriazacorrole [P(OH)2TBCSn] and a non-sulfonated one [P(OH)2TBC] are reported in this paper. Different from other phthalocyanine derivatives, P(OH)2TBCSn shows little aggregation in aqueous solution. The fluorescence quantum yield (PhiF) of P(OH)2TBCSn is lower than that of the non-sulfonated one. The clinical picture in vasculitis varies from few self-limiting symptoms to life-threatening illnesses affecting multiple organs. We describe the course of a woman patient who had had a severe cutaneous necrotizing vasculitis for more than 10 years. Various immunsuppressants, including cyclophosphamide, had failed to improve the clinical course, although adequate doses were given for a sufficient period. A concise and efficient route to the synthesis of multi-substituted furans has been developed via Pd-catalyzed ring-opening/defluorinative annulation of gem-difluorocyclopropanes (gem-F2CPs) with β-keto sulfones. A copper-catalyzed enantioselective sulfonylation of yne-allylic esters with sulfur dioxide and cyclopropan-1-ols is reported. This three-component reaction proceeds via selective ε-addition of γ-keto sulfinate to copper-allenylidene intermediates, enabling efficient synthesis of chiral allylic sulfones under mild conditions. The protocol features high enantioselectivity (up to 96% ee), broad functional group compatibility, and good yields.
